If you asked me about this product, all I could say is that it's a good mini-game you could enjoy if you're interested in side-scrolling adventures. However, this adventure comes with a challenge that even the toughest challengers may find alienating and annoying in some parts. Though the game isn't perfect, it doesn't break away from reminding old-school gamers that easy control schemes don't always equal an easy game. While it's busy paying homage to the original 1966 motion picture of the same name, it's also not straying away from being an actual video game meant to be played.MANOS: The Hands of Fate is more than just a strange experience, but rather a classic retro disaster based on a disasterous motion picture that couldn't handle a simple absurd concept.. Somehow this game manages to be worse than the movie upon which it is based. The gameplay is bland, half of the levels are slow autoscrollers for no reason, there's no way to rebind the controls for keyboard and there's no way to turn down the awful sound effects. The UFO makes the worst sound I've ever heard. To its credit, the music is ok and the art in the cutscenes is pretty good, but that doesn't help the fun factor. I've been following this game since before it was Greenlit, but I just can't recommend it as is.. If LJN were still around this is the game they would make.. good but really could have used an options screen to fix screen size and like sound Its fun but WAAAAAAY too ♥♥♥♥in loud
